Was it illegal before or it's just officially approved now?

Before, AIRSOFT was not approved or disapproved.

Was not recognized as a sport or any other form.

Now we can do sports clubs with main occupation - AIRSOFT

Good job Alecu!!

Here in Venezuela, have serious restrictions because the airsoft replica’s was considered belic toys and these ones only can be used by military and some special forces to practice. We did all that we can do to fine the way to legalize this but only receive new laws that prohibit to use replicas. Now, the Assembly is discussing the new disarmament law and if you have an airsoft gun you could go 10 year to the jail. Awesome!!!

What did you do Alecu? I think that this information in importand...

first step was a petition signed by all the players in Romania.
second step was, made by other guy, who is working with the minister of defense and he started all the papers for recognition of a new sport.

the thing is that when i travelled outside romania, i got papers stating that airsoft replicas are toys and dont apply to weapons regulation. it can be a little bit harder for you.

the first step that you should do, talk to a lawyer and see how to make a new sport to be recognized.
